A while ago I bought these new matte pencils from Faber-Castell:
It is often emphasized that you can create good works even with simple materials. That is certainly not wrong. But I must say quite clearly, the investment in this set was absolutely worth it for me. Of course, I've owned pencils for a long time, even a set in different hardnesses, but I haven't drawn with pencils as much in my life as I have in the short time this set has been in my possession.
