robin
I met this robina while ago at the Rhododendron Valley in the Merian Gardens. It sat there on a branch right next to the small path and let me patiently take some photos.
I painted the robin with watercolor and gouache paints.

Lake of Uri (Flüelen)
This picture, drawn with ink, shows Lake Uri and my home town Fluelen in the canton of Uri. The template was a photo I took myself a few months ago.

Two koi fish swimming in a pond. In addition to watercolor I also used gouache paints here. This creates beautiful strong opaque colors.

THESE BOOTS ARE MADE...
... for walking, and that's just what they do.
This watercolor painting was created in memory of my father. He had all sorts of boots in a wide variety of colors and designs and rarely wore anything else on his feet.


GIRL IN THE GARDEN
The girl walks barefoot through the garden. Painted with Schmincke watercolors. Some of the small details were made with a Micron finliner.

This picture of a house entrance in China was created from a photo template from Unspalsh.com (page for royalty-free images). The base was painted with watercolor, details such as the lanterns were added with opaque gouache paint.

Flüelen Church

This watercolor and gouache picture shows the Catholic Church in my hometown Flüelen in the canton of Uri. The template was a photo that I took a few months ago.
memento mori
Own idea. As a template for the skull, I chose the skull of a four-horned antelope from the Natural History Museum in Basel.
