This robin I met some time ago in the rhododendron valley in the Merian Gardens. It sat there on a branch right next to the small path that leads through the garden and patiently let itself be photographed.

Of course I had to paint this cute bird. I painted this picture on Bamboo Mixed Media paper from Hahnemühle (24*32 cm) and with watercolor and gouache paints. At the end I added some details with Polychromos colored pencils.
